Pork and Asparagus Stir Fry

ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce or hoisin
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

procedure

  • (make rice)
  • Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Add garlic and ginger, then stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add asparagus and cook 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Pour in the sauce and toss until everything is coated and slightly thickened.
