In support of the OCDSB motion to merge school boards

Hello Trustees McKenzie and FitzGerald,

I have only a few minutes to contact you today - but I wanted to thank you Trustee FitzGerald for raising the issue of saving money by merging the Catholic and public school boards. Aside from the financial benefits I also believe it is simply the right thing to do.

Trustee McKenzie, as my local trustee I hope you will vote in favour of this proposal. My daughter attends Churchill Alternative School and I believe our education system would be better served by having the resources to offer more variety in education, rather than dedicate so many resources to the separate school system. The separate school system is an anachronism and has no place in our modern society.
